  • Roundabout our Le Marche holiday home

The interior of Le Marche region (check out our location map) is one of the least developed and most unspoilt in Italy. It is an area known to Italian tourists and an increasing number of international holiday-makers. Sarnano and San Ginesio, the nearest towns to our holiday accommodation, have both been officially listed among the 'most beautiful villages' in Italy. Both towns have also earned the Orange Flag from the Touring Club of Italy for the high standards of their tourist facilities. On offer is a wide range of shops and restaurants as well as some stunning scenery and wonderful architecture. During your visit to these medieval hilltop towns you will find the local populace is hospitable, welcoming and patient with those fumbling with basic Italian (our personal experience). After your tour of the local villages you can cool off in the clear mountain waters of Lago di Fiastra surrounded by the majestic Sibillini Mountains.
